yes ive hidden the task bar but when i hover the mouse over the bootom of the screen the task bar slides up i dont wont it to slide up is there away to have it like on xp

You must have installed a 3rd party app on your XP install to achieve... ...dont want it to slide up...Hello! In windows xp there is a group policy setting to completely and entirely remove the task bar however I searched group policy on mywindows 7installationand could not find this option.

I searched high and low in windows 7 and there does not appear to be any settings to change whether windows are displayed in front of or behind the taskbar.
