the group policy client service failed the logon - access denied
I have upgraded all our vista pc's to windows 7 and now when a student logs on to a pc he is fine but when he logs onto another pc he gets this massage "the group policy client service failed the logon" the users are using roamng profiles and on there first logon all their profiles are fine.

Hi, Thank you for posting here. It is a possible that some software conflicts problem. Please try to login with Safe Mode or Clean Boot to see if the same issue appears. If the issue doesn’t occur in Safe Mode or Clean Boot, it was caused by startup items, generally, antivirus software or Firewall. Please try to disable or uninstall them to test. If the issue occurs in Safe Mode or Clean Boot, try to add users to Local Administrator group and test. Hope it helps. Adding the users as local administrator has fixed the problem but now the problem is that all the students have local admin rights. Not really an ideal situation!
