ok so when i 1st had access to the inter net and took my 1st programming class i found out that windowshas a speed cap so that it runs without errors and such and runs at an optimal performance.... so i went on google and download a program that would open up a dos window and i could set the speed cap all programs have a speed cap some even let you adjust the speed cap like in video games if you play command and conquer genrals it let you increase the speed of the game to the point where it took 1 second to create a unit but you would be attacked by legions of tanks from the enemy computer i cant seem to find this program again would somone be able to tell me how to do this manually without it? i never experienced problems from doing this but then again i never increased the speed cap too high... i would imagine you would get save errors when your copying files or errors galor cuz when your loading stuff the programs trip up on themselves... but i never went that far i would imagine what i need to edit is in the registry can somone help me? (edit) i suspect the program hacked windows so it could do what it did T^T if thats the case then i suspect ill never find it again and i might get banned form these forumns if thats the case but i can take a warning and not fiddle with it T^T i need my windows too much T^T1 person needs an answerI do too
