OK I some how changed a setting and no longer see pic files as thumbnails but as a sky icon, just need to find what I did and undo. anyone?

I think in your case you change the view size. Few ways to locate 'View' Upper right corner of Pictures window, right under 'Search Pictures' hit the first icon (on the left) and a slider bar will appear to adjust. While in the Picture folder, hit 'Alt' on your keyboard and the View (File / Edit / View) will appear. Right click anywhere in the folder and go to 'View'

In View tab, uncheck the option “Always show icons, never thumbnails".If the issue persists, try to perform a system restore:System Restore ====================1. Click the Start Button, type "system restore" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box and press Enter. Click Continue if necessary.2. this does NOT work. I used to be able to see an image on my video thumbnails. Just out of the blue, they are gone and only an icon with a musical note appears. Where did the image go? How do I fix this??

I have the same problem and nothing above ever worked. Is anyone able to help please???
