how to clear virtual memory
October 21st, 2010 8:36am
Virtual memory is a portion of the system's hard disk(permanent storage) that is used as RAM(temporary storage). the system does this by continually swapping and shuffling portions of work between harddisk and memory. so virtual memory or its contents
eventually get cleared during periods of low work loads and when you reboot. however you can control the size of the virtual memory(the size of the portion of the harddisk that can be allocated as RAM). you do this by ; right-click my computer>properties>advanced>under

Correct, but making it a policy is different from just making it happen once or as you need to.Tunde Abagun MCP,MCSA,MCTS,MCITP en p "for the love of Computers"
