Hi, Thank you for the post. Please understand that Windows Vista contains more features and improvements on stability and security. Thus, it is always recommended to use Windows Vista if it is available. May I know the issues you encounter when using Windows Vista? We are happy to be of further assistance. If you still prefer to downgrade back to Windows XP, I am sorry to say that Windows Vista does not include an uninstall feature apart from the setup Rollback mechanism to restore the previous operating system. To restore the previously installed OS after the Windows Vista upgrade process is complete, you will have to fully reinstall the previous OS. In this case, please refer to the following steps: 1. Back up data as needed. If you have data that has been created under a new user profile using Windows Vista, you can locate the data in the %systemdrive%\Users\. 2. Perform a clean install of the previous OS. Thank you for your understanding. Happy New Year. Sincerely, Joson Zhou Microsoft Online Community Support
