Hi, Based on my research, please try the following: 1. Check whether the key and version of Windows 7 match the COA tag at the bottom of the computer. You may refer to the following link to find COA. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howtotell/Software.aspx#Packaging If the keys are different, you can try the following steps to change it. 1) Right-click on the Computer desktop shortcut and go to Properties. 2) At the bottom of the window, click on Change Product key. 3) Enter your product key in the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX and press Enter. 2. Boot into Clean Boot Mode and test the issue again. 3. Install the update, reboot your system and see how it works. Description of the update for Windows Activation Technologies If issue persists, due to your Windows 7 is pre-installed and your License Type is OEM System Builder, it is recommended to contact your OEM for help. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support
