why does Vista Home Basic connect to a private network AND a public network
whenever I connect to my wireless LAN, Vista shows that I'm connected to my named private network (as expected) and also a public "unidentified network". If I disconnect from one the other disconnects too! Is this ok from a security perspective? Internet connectivity is otherwise fine. thanks for your help Bill

Hi Bill, Please right lick on Local Area Connection->Propertise, uncheck the box before Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and apply the settings to check the result. Meanwhile, please make sure you have installed the latest wireless netword card driver.
