The question basically says it all. Everyday I go to shut down my PC theres an update option attached to it. A weird thing is sometimes theres Update and restart and plain old shut down available, other times both restart and shut down have update attached to it. I'm not really sure why one would have an update and the other wouldn't but that seems weird to me.

Also, when I power up the next day most of the time the updates couldn't be installed, windows attempts to retry and undoes the changes?  whats the deal with that?

How do I get my computer to update normally?
