win 7 multipul audio output
hey, and thx in advance what i have, zotac h67 itx wifi motherboard, core i5 2500k, 4 gig of ram. hooked to my 40" tv and audio through the 7.4 surround sound. what i am trying to do. the computer currently plays all my sound through the optical cable in to the surround sound , which works great, but now i have started to listen to online radio. i have to turn the volume too high to hear it in the garage, so i bought a USB FM transmitter, so i can turn on the garage radio to hear my music. i had to go in the playback device and set the FM transmitter as my default device to make it work, and it worls great. The problem is that now i have to go in in the playback device and change over the default playback device every time i want to watch movie through the surround sound. so the question is "is there a way to set the audio output, to output through both at all times" what i have done so far, went in the volume control options and checked the boxes for both devices. right now the FM transmitter is set as the default device and the surround sound is set as the default communication device. when no audio is playing and i place the mouse over the speaker icon both devices shows as ready , but as soon as u play something one goes away(default device stays) plz help, thx for any responce
