I have just picked up a new pc today running windows 8 with dual touch screen monitors. I also have the Microsoft wireless comfort 5000 keyboard and mouse. mouse is fine but keyboard doesn't work. any ideas?

For this issue, I suggest you reinstall the keyboard driver to check the result.

Meanwhile. Please verify your batteries of keyboard.

If the issue persists, I suggest you test it on the other laptop.
