i need to find my ip address but when i do ip config it comes up with lots of "tunnel adapter local area connection 152" is where it stops so it gos to high to see my ip, also i alread turned off tcp/inv6

iv tried that but it is so long that it fills the cmd so much that you can only scroll back to the 90 something tunnel adapter

in the cmd window type ipconfig >myipcfg.txt or whatever you want to call the text file. this simply redirects the screen output into the file that you can open with notepad. i find it odd that you have so many tunnel adapters listed

As an alternative method, you can use the following method to view IP address and subnet. 1. Open "Network and Sharing Center" and click "Local Area Connection". 2. Click "Details..." button in the opened window.Then, you will get the IP address.Thanks,Novak
