windows 7 removed shortcuts of files on my file server from the desktop.
I have couple of windows 7 users lost their shortcuts they made for folder on the file server. These are brand new computer with windows 7 professional installed. What is doing this? Please help!

Hi,Are you in domain? I would also like to confirm if other saved file on desktop other than shortcut disappear. If so, the user profiles may be corrupt and like you mentioned not all of them were involved.
