I have just noticed a few days ago everything I open any preinstalled windows game but chess all i get is a white screen. Sound still works but no display. I have uninstalled all windows games rebooted and reinstalled them nothing changed. I have ran scan now thing in the MSDOS prompt and it found nothing. No amount of Google searching has led me even close to an answer

I would go to Control Panel | Programs and Features |Turn windows features on and off. Find the Games feature and clear the check box. After a reboot go back and turn it back on (or only select the games you want). Bill

Hi, I suggest you reinstall the games to check the result. For detail steps: 1. Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 2. To turn the game off and on, unselect the check box to remove and then select the check to reinstall it. Hope this helps. Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
