windows interesting folders
Hi I have windows 7 proffessional edition. In my D driver, there are interesting named folders. What are theese? and this is folders content how can I delete theese folders and files. windows is not allowed to delete them

These look like possible driver install folders. Easy fix is to just hide the folders. They are temporary folders used by Windows Update. If you look in the folders, you will see files with KB######. That is fine. As the folder is not located inside of your user profile, Windows requires administrative access to delete the folder. Your user account does not currently have that access and so Windows is asking you if you are sure you want to Continue.If you found this post helpful, please "Vote as Helpful". I simply ignore those folders, they are used by Windows updates and installers etc I have tested removing them in a VM and they can be safely removed without problem. They are simply temp files that seem to have not been removed when done with. Sloppy programming. Windows MVP, XP, Vista, 7.
