Hi Guys I have two computers running the same install of windows 7rc both in dual boot mode the desktop one has its other o/s as xp pro and the laptop i own has the other o/s as vista can i download updates on my laptop for both win 7 rc installations or do they both have to be done individually my main aim is to save on downloading time(not to have to do it all twice)

Andrew, Both systems will have to download updates individually. However, they can do this seamlessly in the background, so long as Windows Updates are set to automatic, which they should be by default. You can change this setting by opening the Windows Update menu from the Control Panel and clicking "Change settings" from the left pane.-Alex
