windows xp will not shut down
When I shut down windows it keeps restarting. The screen says "saving your settings", then "windows is shuting down". But, it doesn't shut down it restarts. I had went in and turned off automatic restart. Also, I was having an issue with yahoo mail loading and had to download a fix of the .dll registrations, #50191. I currently have no virus protection, whatsoever on the unit. Could that be the problem? Or drivers?1 person needs an answerI do too

I downloaded the software and ran a complete system scan. When I turn off the desktop, windows closes and the pc powers off. The scan didn't reveal any threats or problems with the system. But, it apparently did something because the system starts and stops like it is suppossed to, Thanks
