wireless network problem
Hi All, I have an issue with my Welreless connection. I am able to connect through wired network and able to browse using wired n/w. But when I try to connect through wireless I am not able to browse. 1) I am able to ping all the websites like google.com. 2) I am able to connect to wireless router. The only problem is not able to browse any site. I tried in so many ways but not able to browse. I have another computer in the same network, but I am able to access internet with other laptop. I did check the IE proxy settings, I did check the host file I did check TCP/IP connection. But not sure what could be the problem. If any one are having suggestions please help me. Regards, Santosh.

Hi, Firstly, please let us know the following: 1. What is network environment, home or domain? 2. Did the issue occur previously? Meanwhile, based on my research, please try the following: 1. Update your wireless NIC driver to the latest. 2. Temporary disable Windows Firewall or any other security applications to ensure that port 80 is not being blocked while using wireless connection. 3. Boot into Clean Boot Mode and test the issue again. 4. Reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and see how it works. If issue persists, 1. Please capture a screenshot of Network and Sharing Center and post here. 2. I suggest using Network Monitor to troubleshoot the issue. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support
