I have my desktop and laptop on a homegroup. On my laptop, when I navigate to the "Network" window, I can see my desktop under "Media Devices." However, when I doubleclick on that device, I get an error message from Windows Media Player. The error windows says: "The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16385 where 12.0.7600.16415 was expected." I've looked at the "about" window in Windows Media Player on my desktop and the version reported is indeed 12.0.7600.16415. I can't understand why I'm getting this error. The same error does not occur on my desktop when I open my laptop under media devices. Can anyone offer any suggestions how to fix this error?
