wshatmg.dll - AVG says Trojan Horse ?
Hi, While installing Microsoft's latest updates (2 security updates and the May version of the Malicious Software Removal Tool), the AVG 9.0 Resident Shield popped up warning of a Trojan Horse called Crypt.UVO. The file was Windows\System32\wshatmg.dll and the Process name was MRT.exe (possibly Malicious software Removal Tool ?). Has anyone else had this? Is it a fake positive? Thanks, Samak 1 person needs an answerI do too

One possible way is that you already have a trojan than was sensitive to MRT.exe and what it will does is that when it detect MRT.exe is running try to copy a Virus on it. Another possibility is the false-positive error . My first suggestion is to update AVG and run full system scan. If nothing detect also try following website and run full system scan, use Internet Explorer and allow pop up and accept ActiveX: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm I also seen you have post this in AVG forum, I believe someone will answer it.
