I have my Windows Update set to "Notify Only".IMHO...it should run when I 1st start up my computer. Microsoft only (usually) publishes softwre updates once a month.It's running 3-5 times a day....ESPECIALLY after being in my Google email or on a few other websites.WHY????1 person needs an answerI do too

It is always sensible in this situation to run a check for malware Download and install Malwarebytes (freeware version for home users only), update definitions and run in safe mode. Been through all that before sir....and have even reloaded a new image on the 12th...and got all the updates direct from the MS updates page.This started happening back in August of last year...and I finally got to the point that I turned off AU completely.If malware was causing this to happen...why do I have entries in my Windows Update log?Here's what yesterday looked like...as you can see it tried to run 4 different times. Wow...STILL NO answers.Seems to ME that the between the Microsoft developers AND other advert groups collecting data... and you so-called "experts"..on the Forums here.... that aren't willing to answer a question... that ya'all are more interested in your freakin' stock values versus what we software / internet users have to deal with.Sooner or later I HOPE that these things bite ALL of you in the azz.Using technology to use OTHERS is just wrong.
