Motherboard is Asus P5KC. x86 release has problem - x64 release works OK. Power light goes out, but chassis fan stays on.

Open the Power troubleshooter to adjust your computer's power settings. 1) Click the Start button and click Control Panel. 2) Type Troubleshooter in the search box and click Troubleshooting. 3) Click Improve power usage under System and Security. 2. Check in BIOS and make sure that the BIOS version is updated and check in Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) to configure power management features.
