xp laptop wont connect to wireless connection
hey i need some help connecting my 2nd laptop to our wireless network...when it would connect it would say it couldn't find a certificate for the network or something and now it wont connect at all...its really bugging me cuz whats the point of wireless if i cant use it...someone please help!! 1 person needs an answerI do too

ok the laptop is a hp pavilion running windows xp...i just got wireless today and they said it should be no problem setting up another computer but i had problems before with this laptop...it just will not connect to a wireless connection and it doesn't really say why....my dell has no problem....i think its something to do with the xp laptop but i dont know where to go or look to maybe change some settings or whatever

O.K,. and you've already read the short article I cited above so you've already made sure the HP Pavillion's network adapter is turned on? When you look at the Pavillion do you see the list of available wireless networks and is your network listed? Will it connect to ANY wireless networks or is the problem limited to yours? i would but it wont connect to anything...even when my internet just plugged into the computer...it shows my wireless network but when i hit connect it doesn't ask for my password or anything it just says it cant connect

it says "windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network"
